i know it's been a little time since my last post. life got really busy for me, which was a good thing - had to focus on getting my website up and running smooth. which it is. however today, despite the rain clouds above, i wanted to hit the pavement and see what i come up with. i heard a voice behind me warning me of SJPD on mountain bikes issuing out citations near by. he saw my camera and started asking me questions about it. we spoke at random about the beginning of life, the origin of my name, marriage, the weather, movies and whatever came to mind.
turns out he used to shoot as well, analog though. he described his manual 35 mm SLR and how much fun he had with it. he doesn't shoot anymore, lost his camera during the years of changing places and such. at any-rate, he recently moved to san jose 4 years ago and dreams of riding his mountain bike around the entire bay area.
