while out photo-walking in san jose costa rica, i came across this community park/rec center. soccer field, basketball courts and something i couldn't figure out what this area was used for. it had a roof but no walls, benches and super smooth cement floors. at any rate, i met danne (danny) and his friends who have the funniest nick-names "rooster", practicing on their skate boards, cracking jokes and just hanging out passing time. danne and his friends ranged from ages 17-24 with danne being the oldest. he loved skating and it showed, and he loves heavy metal too. with my limited spanish and their limited english, we still were able to communicate AND be silly. fools tried to get me to smoke weed with them! hahaha anyways, all-around cool ass cats.
